Before Sighting In Your Deer Rifle, Tune Up At The Range With Your Twenty-Two.

Before I take my deer gun out of the safe and waste a bunch of shells trying to sight it in, I grab my .22 rifle or pellet rifle and go to the range. This initial step is crucial as it allows me to get back into the right frame of mind for accuracy.

Practice Builds Confidence

Using a .22 rifle or pellet rifle provides the perfect opportunity to practice without the pressure of high-powered recoil. During these sessions, I go through all of the breathing exercises and squeeze techniques that help you consistently hit your mark.

No Flinch, No Problem

Practicing with a .22 or pellet rifle eliminates the worry of flinching from the anticipation of a high-powered recoil. This helps in maintaining a steady aim and developing a consistent shooting procedure.

Transition to the Big Guns

When I do take my big guns out, I have already developed my shooting procedure and will be more accurate right out of the gate. This pre-season practice helps in saving time and money, ensuring better accuracy during the actual hunting season.

I hope this tip helps you save time and money this season. By practicing with a .22 rifle or pellet rifle, you can improve your shooting skills and be more prepared for the hunting season.
